The Blue Eye Lemon Bristlenose Pleco (L144) is a color variant of the classic bristlenose, distinguished by bright lemon-yellow skin and piercing blue eyes. The combination works especially well in planted or aquascaped tanks, where the yellow tone shows clearly against green.
Like other bristlenose plecos, the L144 stays compact and grazes algae efficiently, so it earns its keep while adding visual interest. Males grow the bristle-like appendages on their snouts that give the species its name, adding a bit of individual character to each fish.
Hardy and easy to care for, this variety suits hobbyists who want something more distinctive than a standard algae eater.
