Sterbai Corydoras are easy to pick out of a lineup: bright white spots scattered across a dark body, with fins tinted orange. Aquascapers and collectors favor them for both their looks and their substrate-cleaning habits.
Like other Corydoras, Sterbai are peaceful and social, spending their time foraging through the substrate in groups. They also tolerate warmer water better than most Corydoras, which makes them a workable companion in tropical setups that include species like discus.
They fit well into planted and community aquariums, adding both activity and a bit of visual contrast to the lower levels of the tank.
