Cryptocoryne parva is the smallest member of the Crypt family, staying low and narrow typically 5 to 8cm tall with bright green, lance-shaped leaves. That size makes it a natural choice for a grassy foreground carpet.
Unlike most carpeting plants, it doesn't need high light or CO₂ to spread, which makes it a good option for low-tech tanks. Growth is slow at first, but once it settles in it spreads steadily via runners and fills in the foreground on its own.
Sold as a potted plant.

Notes
Notes
Like other Cryptocoryne species, Parva is prone to 'crypt melt' after transplanting, with leaves yellowing and dissolving within days of arrival. This is normal transplant shock, not a dead plant — better-adapted leaves typically emerge within a few weeks.
