The Dwarf Gourami is a small, colorful labyrinth fish. Males show diagonal stripes of orange-red and metallic blue, giving them a look that holds its own in a community tank.
They're peaceful, reasonably hardy, and straightforward to care for. Dwarf Gouramis do well in densely planted tanks with calm water flow and get along with a wide range of peaceful tankmates.
