Kuhli Loaches look almost like small eels, with long bodies banded in yellow and dark brown. They're an odd, endearing addition to a tank curious, active, and always investigating something.
Mostly nocturnal, they like to burrow through soft substrate and tuck themselves among plants and roots during the day. Keep them in groups of three or more, in a planted tank with fine sand and plenty of places to hide, and they'll settle in well.
