Monstera adansonii, the Swiss Cheese Vine, is a smaller and more vining relative of Monstera deliciosa, with thin leaves covered in natural holes and slits rather than the deep splits of its larger cousin. The vines grow quickly and trail well from a shelf or hanging basket, or can be trained up a moss pole if you'd rather it climb.
It grows faster than standard Monstera and is just as forgiving, adapting to a range of indoor light levels without much trouble. Its tropical origins mean it appreciates extra humidity, so it does well as a companion plant near open-top aquariums and terrariums where humidity already runs higher than average.
