Small enough for a medium planted tank yet colorful enough to hold its own, the Neon Dwarf Rainbowfish is a popular choice among rainbowfish keepers. Males show electric blue silver scales and bright red fins that create a shimmering effect when the school moves under bright light.
At just 4–5cm, they suit medium planted tanks and community setups well. Active, peaceful mid-water schoolers, they pair nicely with bottom-dwellers like Corydoras and with shrimp.
