Neon Tetras pair a glowing blue stripe with a vivid red underside, a combination that has made them a mainstay of the freshwater hobby for decades. Small and peaceful, they suit both first aquariums and long-established community tanks.
Keep them in groups of six or more and their natural schooling instinct takes over, producing a coordinated, flowing movement that looks especially good against live plants. Their calm temperament makes them easy to pair with other non-aggressive fish.
