Painted Fire Red Shrimp (Neocaridina Davidi)

Painted Fire Red Shrimp (PFR) are the premium, selectively bred form of the Red Cherry Shrimp taken to the extreme. Their coloration is a deep, fully opaque and intensely saturated red that covers the entire body with no transparency, earning them the reputation as the most vivid red Neocaridina available. Set against green plants or dark substrate, they are simply breathtaking.

PFR Shrimp are graded by the intensity and opacity of their red coverage. The highest grades display solid, lacquer-like red with no visible body outline through the shell. As a Neocaridina variety they are just as hardy and easy to keep as standard Cherry Shrimp, making them an excellent upgrade for hobbyists who want maximum visual impact with minimal extra effort.
