Rabbit Snails are large freshwater snails native to the lakes of Sulawesi, Indonesia, named for the long, floppy antennae that resemble rabbit ears. They move slowly, stay peaceful with tankmates, and stand out visually in a way few other snails do.
Their elongated, conical shells come in shades ranging from deep chocolate brown to golden yellow and white, and their wrinkled, velvety skin adds to the distinctive look. Unlike many snail species, Rabbit Snails are live-bearing and reproduce slowly, so populations stay easy to manage.
