Male Rosy Barbs develop a rosy-pink to deep red coloration that deepens further as breeding approaches, set off by black-tipped fins and iridescent scales. They're energetic, active schoolers that keep a tank in constant motion.
Rosy Barbs tolerate cooler water temperatures better than most brightly colored fish, making them a good option for unheated or cool-water aquariums. Keep them in schools of six or more alongside other robust community fish.
