Rotala Rotundifolia is a widely kept stem plant known for its color gradient — small, round leaves shift from soft green at the base to shades of pink and magenta near the tips.

Native to Southeast Asia, Rotala Rotundifolia grows fast and adapts well to moderate to high light. CO2 injection deepens its pink and red tones, but it grows fine without it too, so it fits a range of setups.

Its delicate, airy form contrasts nicely with broader-leaved plants nearby, and its fast growth makes it a useful natural nitrate absorber. Once established, Rotala Rotundifolia fills out a tank with colorful, layered growth.
