Salvinia Minima forms small, neat rosettes of oval leaves on the surface, casting the kind of diffused shade that fish and shrimp preferring dimmer conditions appreciate. Below the surface, a dangling root mass gives fry and breeding pairs somewhere to hide.
Growth is very fast, and it pulls nitrates and phosphates out of the water at a good clip, which helps keep algae in check. Regular thinning keeps it from taking over, and it does fine in almost any freshwater tank or outdoor tub.
Sold as a portion of multiple plants. Exact quantity will vary.

Notes
Very sensitive to being splashed or pushed underwater — waterlogged leaves rot and won't recover, so keep flow gentle at the surface. Thin the colony regularly, as coverage can double within a couple of weeks.
