Seiryu Stone brings a distinct blue-gray coloration with sharp, angular edges and natural white calcite veining running through its surface. The rock's jagged geometry lends itself naturally to mountain and cliff-style layouts, giving aquascapers a tool for building dramatic vertical compositions.
The rough, textured surface gives mosses, ferns, and Bucephalandra plenty of grip for attachment, so detailed hardscapes can be built up over time. It's a mainstay of Iwagumi and Nature Aquarium layouts, though its calcite content means it can gradually raise pH, so soft-water setups should keep an eye on parameters.
