Shrimp Feeding Dish
Shrimp Feeding Dish
Couldn't load pickup availability
A shrimp feeding dish keeps food contained to one spot rather than letting powdered foods and soft vegetables scatter across the tank floor, where they can foul the substrate — a common contributor to poor water quality in shrimp setups.
Having a fixed feeding spot also makes it easy to see how much your shrimp are actually eating and to pull out anything left over before it starts to rot, all while getting a good view of shrimp gathering to feed. Made from aquarium-safe glass or ceramic with a weighted base, it's sized to fit nano and shrimp tanks.
Product Information
Product Information
Material: Aquarium-safe glass or ceramic (weighted base)
Best for: Shrimp tanks, nano tanks, planted aquariums
Use: Place powdered food, blanched vegetables, or wafers directly in the dish
Safe for: All freshwater shrimp, fish, and invertebrates
Notes
Notes
Remove uneaten food within a few hours to prevent it fouling the water, especially with protein-based foods. The weighted base keeps it in place, but lighter ceramic versions can still be shifted by strong-rooting plants or larger fish.
