Snowball Shrimp carry a pure, opaque white coloration that shows up clearly against dark substrate and green plants. The name comes from their eggs — large, white, and round, visible through the translucent body of berried females like tiny snowballs.
As a Neocaridina species, Snowball Shrimp are just as hardy and easy to keep as Cherry Shrimp. They tolerate a wide range of water parameters, breed readily in established tanks, and stay safe around plants and peaceful tankmates — a solid option for adding a white accent to a shrimp collection.
