Tiger Barbs are named for the bold black vertical bands across their orange-gold bodies, and they're as lively as they look. Fast, active schoolers that stay in near constant motion. Kept in groups of eight or more, they move as a tight, energetic unit.
They have a reputation for nipping fins when kept in small numbers or alongside long-finned fish, but that behavior drops off significantly in a large school with equally active tankmates. Green (Moss) and Albino color forms are also available.
