Corydoras Aeneus (Bronze Corydoras)

Corydoras aeneus, the Bronze Corydoras, is a hardy bottom-dwelling catfish with a warm bronze and green iridescent body. It isn't the flashiest cory species, but its lively, social behavior makes it a fixture in community tanks of all sizes.

Bronze Corydoras tolerate a wider range of water conditions than many other cory species and accept most sinking foods without fuss, which is why they're often recommended as a first Corydoras. Keep them in groups of six or more over soft, sandy substrate.
