Panda Corydoras take their name from the bold black "mask" marking across the eyes, set against a pale body that makes them easy to identify at a glance. As peaceful bottom feeders, they spend most of their time working the substrate for leftover food.
They're social fish and should be kept in groups to feel secure — a lone Cory tends to hide rather than explore. Once settled, their steady activity along the tank floor adds a different kind of movement than what you see up in the water column.
Their easygoing nature and adaptability make them a solid fit for planted, beginner-friendly aquariums.
